Rehabilitation can be individualized

Patients with Parkinson’s disease should perform regular exercise. Prof. Li mentioned that exercising 2.5 hours per week would reduce the disease progression. On top of drug treatment, exercise would improve patients’ activities of daily living. Types of exercise to perform are usually individualized. It may depend on their age, patients’ conditions, and work requirements. Exercises that help patients relax are encouraged.
