At EAN 2022, Henrik Schytz, Associate Professor of Neurology, Denmark Headache Center, Denmark, discussed the importance of a patient-centric approach for the treatment of medication overuse headache. Patients need support to withdraw from medication that they may have taken for many years, including discussion regarding the best way and time to start this to fit in with their life.
