When people experience major trauma (e.g. accidents, violent abuse, death of relatives or friends), unpleasant feelings, nightmares and flashbacks may appear, and these traumatic events may have unfortunately induced PTSD.
In this video, a patient shares her experience in an incident where she was sexually assaulted at a party with her colleagues, where everybody drank. From the incident, she had developed a strong reluctance from her to return to work. She then started to experience physical symptoms, such as headaches. She was later diagnosed by a psychiatrist to be suffering from PTSD and went through the tough moment with care and treatment.
