Mood Maze Episode 5 – Suicide & Self-harm

People when feeling emotional distress sometimes hide up their unhappiness. Some would choose binge-eating and some choose to harm themselves. These improper ways of releasing emotions would put themselves in danger. A patient shared her story of being involved in an affair that hurt her best friend unintentionally, resulting being boycotted by her classmates. She felt not being understood, lonely and depressed and finally she harmed herself. After receiving treatment from a psychiatrist, her problems were improved & she stepped onto the road of recovery.
